    Rémy Héritier

Rémy Héritier is a choreographer, dancer and dance researcher. Since 2004, he has created more than a dozen pieces that extend the boundaries of choreographic art to intertextuality and the document, and thus conjure up new poetics of gesture. These include Dispositions (2008), Chevreuil (2009), Une étendue (2011), Percée Persée (2014), Here, then (2015), Une forme brève (2020) and L'usage du terrain - Vitry (2022). His work, shown in France and abroad, in and out of theaters, favors long-term processes and modes of address that are as spectacular as they are exhibition-based.
In 2013, he was a laureate of the French Institute's "Hors les Murs" program. In 2015, he received grants from the FNAGP, The Swedish Arts Grants Committee and the association Beaumarchais-SACD. He has been an associate researcher at La Manufacture (Lausanne) since 2016 as part of the Figure, que donne à voir une danse (2016-17) and Composition (2016-19) teams, and taught at the Ecole Supérieure d'Art de Clermont Métropole from 2018 to 2021.
He has also performed with B. Charmatz, L. Chétouane, DD Dorvillier, P. Gehmacher, J. Lacey, M. Monnier, L. Pichaud and L. Touzé.
