Scholarships

In principle, any person wishing to study at the Manufacture must be able to finance their needs for the duration of the course, either personally and/or by means of external financial assistance.

The school does not offer financial support to students, even though to some extent it can facilitate access to a number of grants. In this sense, it is important that students who are unable to finance their studies themselves should make enquiries personally as soon as possible with a view to securing financial support. More detailed information can be found in the handbook sent to future students.

Cantonal funding offices

Swiss students and apprentices can apply for a one-time or recurring subsidy. Grants do not have to be paid back. The education department of each canton has an office responsible for answering questions about educational funding. They also provide addresses of foundations and private trusts.

Private foundation scholarships

Certain private foundations also award scholarships to students showing exceptional qualities. This is, how-ever, only possible as of the second year of study. For those who may qualify for such financial aid, the necessary information will be available in due course at the Manufacture administration.
