The HETSR affirms its identity in becoming "La Manufacture – Haute école des arts de la scène" and welcomes a new Foundation board.

Named initially Haute école de Théâtre de Suisse romande (HETSR), the Manufacture changes its statutes to become "La Manufacture – Haute école des arts de la scène", reflecting thereby the multidisciplinary dimension of the school. The Manufacture is therefore the only university in French-speaking Europe to offer degree courses in dance and theatre on a single site.

The Manufacture plans in the future to extend its reach to choreography and scenography, thus becoming French-speaking Switzerland point for professional performing arts training.

The new statutes involve a change in composition of the Foundation board. The new Conseil will be chaired by Martine Brunschwig Graf, who has succeeded to Charles Kleiber in March 2017.
